adsworth residents have long enjoyed quality recreation programs and facilities. Since 1973, the focal point of recreational activity has been the Steiner Youth Center, a full-fledged community recreation center next to the high school. It is a place where family bonds are strengthened, adults feel and look better through exercise, children learn new skills and gain confidence, seniors gain better health and new friendships and community takes place for all ages. The Steiner Center features family friendly facilities such as indoor and outdoor pools, gymnasium, game table area, meeting rooms for clubs, rentals and organizations, and also a fitness center with a wide variety of state-of-the art fitness equipment.

Programs at Steiner include over 15 types of land and water fitness classes per week, swim lessons (over 1,500 children per year), birthday party rentals, sports leagues, special events, and other programs that encourage health, wellness, life enrichment and personal development.

A.C. Field - College St. at Avon Ave., 3.2 acres; baseball field

Bird Street Park - Bird St. south of Bergey St., 29.9 acres; picnic tables and grills, two shelters, play equipment, restrooms, basketball court, baseball field and two soccer fields.

Durling Park - Humbolt Ave. at Boyer St.; 6.6 acres; picnic tables and grills, shelter, playground equipment, restrooms, baseball diamond, basketball court and four tennis courts; playground supervised during the summer.

First Street Tot Lot - First St. near Springdale; small fenced preschool area featuring slide, swings, sand box, picnic table and grill.

Franklin Park - Pine St. near S. Lyman; pavilion, play equipment and basketball court.

Holmesbrook Park - College St. near Leatherman Rd.; 58.3 acres; nature park currently under development; paved and unpaved hiking trails.

Memorial Park - Ault St. off College St.; 47.8 acres; picnic tables and grills, three shelters, hiking trails, playground equipment, restrooms, softball field, two tennis courts, ice skating, sand volleyball, fishing pond, large paved multi-purpose path.

Miller Park - Chestnut Ave. near Fairview Ave.; 5.3 acres; picnic tables and grills, playground equipment and two softball diamonds.

Muhl Recreation Area -  Trease Rd. new Byersview Dr.; 28 acres; six soccer fields, play structure and picnic pavilion.

Northwoods Park - Hollybrier Dr.; 2 acres; play structure, picnic shelter, basketball court and an open grassy area.

Steiner Youth Center - 567 W. School Dr.; 10.4 acres; playground equipment, restrooms, four baseball diamonds, football field, two tennis courts, practice soccer field, multi-purpose court featuring ice skating, inline hockey and basketball; also the site of a full-service community recreation center.

Terraceview Park - Terraceview Dr. off Main St.; 4 acres; picnic tables and grills, shelter, playground equipment.

Valley View Park - North end of West St. near Valley View Dr.; 14.9 acres; picnic tables and grills, shelter, playground equipment, restrooms, basketball court, baseball field and soccer field.

Weatherstone Park - Reimer Rd. west of S.R. 94; 5.5 acres; lighted softball (2), baseball and T-ball fields.

Wintergreen Park - End of Hillcrest Dr.; 3 acres; play structure, pavilion, trails and basketball court.
